I trained as an English teacher and I have only picked up drama over the last couple of years. This course is so accessible while also going into great detail about the different practitioners. Lucy, Bindya and Gemma are all so knowledgable and friendly - it made a really lovely atmosphere online. I can't wait for the next one!

We booked Lucy and her team for our end of term to help give the students an insight to the world of set design. Lucy was so professional from the outset, the sets, materials and general theme were geared to our next terms show. All the information, products and materials had so much detail. The students absolutely loved every minute, engaging in constructing their very own sets from an abundance of intricate little figures to curtains, lights and back drops. The finished products were superb. I would highly recommend the workshop, it was delivered with enthusiasm and directed at all the ages from 6 -18. 10 out of 10 from me!

We had Lucy and Richard come and deliver set design workshops to our main stages and further stages students and it was a huge success!

For main stages, the sessions were adapted for each age group and tailored perfectly. Sessions were engaging and so creative, and the students came out absolutely buzzing! They loved working in groups and developing ideas for a show, with the older students even creating their own mini shoe-box sets!

For further stages, students loved having the time to have an in-depth look at the process of designing a set for a specific show, and thrived when creating their shoe box sets. Every time I walked into the room the concentration was palpable, and students were fully engrossed from start to finish.

Lucy and Richard were inspiring and thoughtful, prompting wonderful ideas and responses from our students. The students took to them brilliantly. This was a fab opportunity to give students yet another perspective into the performing arts industry and it certainly was inspiring!

Lucy is a practitioner with an excellent knowledge-base. The session she delivered was well structured and enjoyable for teachers, with some very practical strategies they could take with them and use in their settings.

I came across We Teach Drama on a GCSE Drama group on Facebook. Although the tech design webinars had already started, Lucy Bellingham was extremely helpful and made the whole process easy. I have managed to catch up with the webinars during half term, which was much more flexible than having to go online after work (plus Tuesdays are staff meeting days). Having watched the courses, my mind is buzzing with new ideas, so much so that I am going to have to give my schemes of work a total overhaul to immerse much more technical design teaching. I learned so much and I loved both the teacher handouts and the slides. There are so many visual links and practical ideas. I have an increasing amount of technical students taking Drama each year, and I can't wait to try out these activities with my year 10s as well as helping year 11 prepare for the written exam, in which I tend to focus more on the technical side. Thank you so much for providing such a wealth of useful resources. Now I just need the link for the Amazon torches and I'll be grand!

This was a fantastic inset which has provided me with ready-to-go workshops and resources for design for OCG. Lucy and the team have cleverly woven in SCH examples and key terminology in bite size chunks and provided tips for how students can integrate these into exam answers. Thank you once again.

I have found this course invaluable. I am in my second year of teaching and it has really helped with my subject knowledge and has given me great lesson ideas with impact session suggestions. The Practioner sessions are a good length so they don't take a lot of time up in a busy schedule. The resources are fab and I've used a lot of them already for my sixth form class.

Excellent delivery; useful resources and clearly structured to support staff. Teaching this for the third year, I felt this helped to consolidate my understanding of the exam boards requirements, whilst also delivering new methods of teaching to the top which I wasn’t as confident on.
